i also just think that Charlotte thought Sue had more potential than Chanelle, and of course her feud with Chanelle, if she had saved Chanelle she would've been a huge hypocrite herself

Best friends clearly means a lot to both.
He also on the highlights was strongly defending Chanelle to Sue as well.

Very consistent in his loyalty to her is all I see and although not greatly keen on Chanelle myself,I applaud him for it.
He knows her in there better than we do for sure.
