They've said the house 'will become a high end retreat inspired by celeb hotel hang-outs' which sounds cool and matches the eye... but I don't see how they'll turn a cake shop, thorn cottage, garden themed living area and garden full of village shop fronts into a high end hotel theme......

I agree! I could understand it if they had until the 4th of Aug like planned but bringing it forward to the 1st leaves them with 3 days. I dont see how they are going to do it unless they just change the shop faces and re carpet with new sofas and a lick of paint.
