Are we all in agreement that Hotel was complete garbage and the worst entry of the series?

It was garbage because not one of the thousand plotlines was given any actual focus or development. Even more so than Freak Show.

It was just FAR too camp and glamorous to be treated seriously as a horror lol. The idea behind it was good, but like you said, everything just flopped and was executed poorly.

I don't think being camp and glam can prevent it from being horror. There's plenty of examples of that kind of material in the genre. It's just Hotel failed on all counts.

And, surprisingly, I don't think any of it was Gaga's fault.

Coven > Asylum > Murderhouse > Roanoke > Freakshow & Hotel

No, Freakshow was the worst. Hotel was a hot mess but at least things happened.

Murder House> Asylum > Roanoke > Coven > Hotel > Freakshow tbh.

It's trash and it was the beginning of AHS' decline until Roanoke fixed things.

It was Dynasty with witchcraft, not AHS.

Some eps of Hotel i'd put about Coven too

Hotels problem was that the episodes were too long and that none of the (main) characters were particularly likeable, the ones that were, (Liz & Ms Evers) didn't appear often enough
