IMO their relationship was bizarre. She was the epitome of what he dislikes in people..loud, uncouth and attention seeking. They were drawn together in their dislike of Lotan and creating the 'Outsiders' but they had nothing in comman apart from that. Raph necking half a bottle of wine that night was totally out of character..wouldn't he be pleased his 'best mate' was with her BF?...but it fooled everyone into thinking he was 'bereaved'...it's all a big act.
