Its not a competition you are quite right and as such maddie unfortunately is not a special case and therefore we cannot continue to throw money at a futile case. I am not casting aspersions on her parents, I have no idea what happened and I dont think we ever will. Time to move on and focus on children who have recently disappeared and could be found.

Yes, sad news this morning, but the fact that they are putting it down to an accident makes me think they have known he had died years ago.
I am surprised they found evidence of decomposing body in the soil but no teeth/bones etc.

Where was it discredited or did you just decide that yourself? Odd that two Doctors who were friends of the McCanns would go so far as to make up a story like that and actually make a statement to the Police about it imo but there is no way to prove that conversation ever happened, yes.

I think after so many years, unless someone talks, it would be fairly impossible to find her. This UK investigation was probably fairly futile from the getgo.

In the case of Ben Needham someone did talk, he came forward and said his friend who had recently died killed Ben accidentally and covered it up.
