s27 uses RI most effectively of the three seasons, so I wouldn't worry too much

BvW is a massive improvement on S26, i think its underrated.

Most people have it as a middle of the road series, I personally felt it was one of the better series of the 34 seasons. I really enjoyed it, and thought the cast was good.
S27-S29 is a good patch of survivor.

And nah, Caramoan I felt wasn't as bad as some people on here view it. I did prefer Philipines however, but I didn't dislike Caramoan so was shocked so many on here didn't like it. The main issue was that they weren't favorites.

Yeah the cast really isn't very likeable, but the series is very watchable.

BvW is an ok season, the dynamic is interesting but wasn't here for the dominating alliance.
