I disagree with the bit in bold, I dont think they ever went away and one of the things that has stunned me about the driver was the fact that he was only twenty. Ten years ago what could he have possibly known about these issues?

I agree. This is a common thread with many of the Leftist groups. Feminists for example scream about white male 'rape culture' yet never say a word about the real rape culture, which is islam, where women can be beaten just for refusing sex with their husbands. Or little girls having their genitals mutilated. Yet these are two huge crimes against women.
As for antifa, the biggest hypocrites ever, who go around calling patriots nazi's and fascists. They are the biggest fascists going. At many of the rallies, THEY are the ones with weapons, who start violence first and cause chaos wherever they go.

I honestly don't understand this response. A car crashed into people, and the only response white wing posters can be bothered with is is "WHAT ABOUT BLM DOE, SOME OF THEM DO VIOLENCE" Yes, some do, however, it was a white supremacist who commited a terror attack yestereday, in an American town, against non-violent protesters. The USA has had a problem with empowered extremists for decades. Its not a new phenomena. Its a bi-product of having free speech, and the means to commit atrocities with the click of a finger.

Of course Nazi extremism should be outlawed, it shouldn't even be up for debate, and really, why are people getting upset with Trump. He was voted in by the American people as the "best" option for the job. It is what it is. If people don't like his performance he will be booted out come the next election if not before. Maybe next time they will get half decent candidates to represent them.

Its all about power shift. We've seen these creatures before in Greece and Rome, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, fascist Italy and former Yugoslavia. This is exactly what happened to old societies and its happening to us now.

As for the U.S, racist, violent and despotic forces have always been a part of the American landscape. Throughout American history, we've seen such people tolerated and even empowered by the state to persecute. What we are witnessing and the reason this mould is growing is because of the recent power shift. When democratic institutions cease to function, when the consent of the government becomes a joke, despots fill the political void.
