It's obviously scarred her...but has she ever understood why her parents did what they did...they were at the end of their tether, I recall watching it...didn't realise it was her.
One of those situations where what her parents did was a massive gamble...it obviously didn't pay off...just made her worse. Makes you wonder what happened in her first 13 years that made her the spoiled brat she was then...
She really can be vile...but sometimes you get a glimpse of a vulnerable girl that just wants to be loved...
