It's interesting though because I feel like C5 used to put effort into BB, like BB12/13/14 clearly had a lot of effort put into them imo so I wonder what happened around 2014 which is when they seemed to start preferring CBB.

Probably when CBB13 managed over 3m I think

I've been saying this for years and was basically accused of being a liar on one occasion, they only ever wanted CBB and Endemol told them it was a package deal. Whether that still stands remains to be seen

They preferred CBB right from the start, why do you think they launched the revivial (in the summer!) with Celebrity Big Brother? And then gave us a summer CBB forevermore?
