Yeah I'm really not seeing the Cult aspect in this, every other season it was obvious from the get go

I assume the story will change in the second half of the season like Roanoke since I don't see a way it can run for 11 episodes. Because isn't Evan meant to be playing cult leaders like Manson etc this season?
