I'm so sick and tired of people picking on Aston,Alexandra & Debbie .
when to an extent most of the celebs have done some form of dancing in their life due to their careers, it doesn't mean they're trained Latin & ballroom professionals for godsake .

To all the people giving Aston and some of the others a hard time , what exactly do they want on SCD?? just news readers as contestants with 2 left feet to keep it entirely zero experience hahaha, it's never going to be 100% level playing but they're all in the same boat learning dances they've never learnt before.

In a way sports people could be seen to have an advantage due to their naturally athletic strong and disciplined way , but it's not their fault if for e.g a tv presenter isn't as good or focused that's just how it goes

So excuse Alexandra ,Aston ,Debbie etc for having natural rhythm It's such a CRIME .

I'm sick of people sticking up for them and saying basic dance training doesn't count. When it does. Especially for Debbie. Her dancing is not down to natural rhythm, it's down to years and years of practise at the barre.

In respect of what we want on SCD, we want what it professes to be: a show about people learning to dance.

Aston hasn't been to stage school. I just checked on wiki. It was a comprehensive school. He used to to play football, then started to get interested in singing/dancing.

Obviously Aston knows hot to dance. He isn't a beginner. But he has never been to dance or stage school. He has natural rhythm and he used to dance in jls.
Alexandra has been to dance school, but doesn't have the extensive experience that Debbie has. Debbie is a professional ballerina. Like Darcy.

I didn't know his education background but I knew he WASN'T a trained dancer, but if anything it just proves he's just got natural rhythm .

So people should leave gorgeous Aston alone and stop picking on him , as it's really clutching at straws embarrassment LOL .

I think he's just very talented, same as Alexandra. Debbie is good, because she's a professional ballerina.

I knew Debbie had ballet experience but it doesn't bother me , you can tell from her frame and straight legs that she's done ballet but the same with Abbey Clancy I'm sure people said she did ballet.

And the actress from call the midwife did ballet as well ( I forgot her name was it Helen I think). But she didn't always perform well and sometimes looked like she was tip toeing and afraid to let go , so I don't mind that Debbie has done ballet as she's not the first one and she's still had better dances than others so it's not like she's perfect but she is good.

Jay McGuinness also had a lot of dancing experience, but he didn't find every dance easy. I remember I he messed up his foxtrot and quicksilver.

Johnnie definitely has an advantage, because he's a sportsperson. Similar to Louis Smith.

Aston has a bit of Boyband dancing experience, but that's not really ballroom or latin techniques so the only thing they can Judge him on is he was a Judge on got to dance

Mollie same, a girlband dance moves aren't ballroom or latin techniques

and yes Jonnie has got that sportsman mentality very well noticed Nessa

Exactly my point . But why should we scrutinize the celebrities when the truth is it's hard to get a celebrity who has never danced a little and they usually have natural discipline & an edge , especially when majority of the celebrities are from the entertainment industry or pop or performing arts so it's hardly they're fault they've been in contact with dancing of a kind it's going to happen .

The people complaining must want a really boring competition with nothing but Simon's & Ruth's .

They all get same amount of time to learn a new dance that they've never done before.

and awful

btw if Simon is training again, the injury isn't that bad i think, or they are slowing things down

But it's true .
Some people on here are so hard to please , if they want a competition with zero experience then they must want a very boring show where the contestants are so rubbish and clumsy it's literally judging who is the worst out of a bad bunch .

Where they never improve or learn rhythm and SCD then becomes a bigger joke than it already is .

I prefer a mixture of talents .
