I don't think its how they were raised. I think its how Universities and such have gone in recent times. Yes some of the entitlement may come from how they were raised..but it seems to be once they hit Uni that they 'become' special snowflakes who cannot be criticized. I find the idea of 'safe spaces' in Unis to be ridiculous. Uni is meant to be where you learn about how the real world is, not where you cocoon yourself in among like minded people and thus never be criticized ever. Echo chambers are not good, and should not be encouraged.
