Lily was more of a character though wasn't she? Whereas Courtney is the same but louder, from what she said in the interview.

I'd never heard of him so I don't know tbh I'm just going by his entrance. I think he does perform as Courtney, I just don't think he views Courtney as a separate 'character', it's more like an outfit and he just exaggerates his personality (although a lot of drag queens do put on a character when they perform and have very different personalities in their real lives)

So he's more of a cross dresser than just a drag Queen then?

I think he's still a drag queen it's just that drag queens don't have to be characters, I think you're over thinking it

It's just "under an artificial facade" made me think he was entering as his stage persona which I found odd for BB. But if he goes about as "Courtney" in general life and they're one and the same then I suppose it's no different to a lot of what's been on the show in the past.

From what I gather it's just that the 'facade' is to do with his appearance, rather than his personality (although he said he does exaggerate the personality, but he's still essentially the same person - not trying to be someone different). He would actually be classed as a cross dresser as well as a drag queen btw, just to confuse things more
