You know i'm glad you said this because I was afraid to. Like I wouldn't have any issues with cosmetic procedures if they came after priorities like cancer drugs etc and were like last on the list. Plus wasn't India like, getting a good salary as a newsreader? I may be wrong about that but its a bit tasteless to brag about your "nhs designer vagina" given the state of the nhs now. But I know thats really the governments fault.

Sometimes cosmetic surgery is incredibly benificial. Would you also cut funding for someone who wanted a breast reduction or reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy?

Because technically both are cosmetic based surgery.

Breast reduction is usually done for medical reasons, I know a woman who had it done because she's very small and had huge boobs and a result suffered really badly with her back, her life and health has improved so much after she had it done

The definition of cosmetic surgery is non-essential surgery ie its purely for cosmetic reasons hence the name. Breast reduction is usually done for medical reasons, so no its not technically cosmetic based surgery even if one of the after effects is cosmetic. While mastectomy may fall under that its done because the patient has lost their breasts due to cancer, its pretty insulting to compare this to what India gloated about.
