Well yes thats true. Its still more 'normal' for women to be hugging and such than men. On TV an anyway...in real life I swear all my mates are touchy feely and even flirty sometimes with each other..straight or gay.

I often wonder if my mates are just really odd,. or if this is 'normal' for others too

I honestly think it depends on the individual .

Like I said I wouldn't share that bath in BB , and it's not even big enough for 2 people .

I think it's nice when guys show a sensitive side and are tactile with each other instead of the stereotypical fist bump and hand shake, and crushing beer cans on the head ( actually Andrew probably does the beer crushing one ) . But Andrew is probably playing up to the cameras and Shane J is helping him get to the final .

Look at Shane L he's a typical manly man but you can see he's sensitive , and more guys these days are metro sexual and I'm sure Emma said Shane L wears women's perfume which I found cool and I already knew some straight men do this .
