Every time I see these discussions about race and representation, making out every programme, awards, company, basically everything should have equal representation or else it’s “racist”; I have to go and check something:

Black people make up 3% of the British population.
“Mixed race” make up 2% of the British population.
White people make up 87% of the British population.

If anything ethnic minorities are OVER-represented in British media, nothing to do with opinion, just factual statistical analysis.
