To be fair, the active part of the drug goes into your system whether you eat it, drink it, smoke it, or stick it in your arsehole... and substances actually enter your system more quickly if you DON'T ingest them, so if it's for pain relief then smoking it is probably the
fastest way to get it to work. Though eating it would give more of a slow release / probably longer lasting effect. There are however obvious health drawbacks to smoking anything, and those who claim that you can't **** up your lungs smoking cannabis are just being daft or willfully ignorant. So eating it or taking it in pill form is the safest and most sensible way to take it.
