Good, the mountain of evidence against him is too ridiculous to ignore. I think it's grotesque that people are confusing actresses willingly (and reluctantly) going along with the harassment with cases of rape that the case has been built on. It's a case of apples and oranges. One does not discredit the other.

I get that view point, it's just I don't feel pity for disgusting criminal activity.

It's not like people are being so callous towards someone who did petty theft so I'm not gonna be offended at whatever people want to have happen to this guy.

I think people just want them to suffer so they think it's justified, I personally don't even want to think about what happens in prison as we all know abuse happens behind bars .

But I think regarding the actresses allegations against Weinstein, of course he abused his power he's clearly a sleazy pervert. But at the same time there's actresses out there who will flirt and sleep with directors / producers to get ahead in Hollywood so they're hypocritical in some ways.

Of course plenty of actresses out there do that, though I wonder how many of them are get on the MeToo cross. But there's still a difference between "if we bang, can I have a starring role plz" and "if you don't sleep with me, kiss goodbye to Hollywood".

But at the same time they have a choice , if a sleazy pervert tried that then they should of said NO, no matter how much "influence " he has . If you're talented & a hard-working actor then something will turn up it just might take longer, some of the best actors out there started at the bottom and worked their way up and kept their morals and decency .

But these accusations aren't just him blackmailing & manipulating them, some claim he forced himself on them . And if that's the case then obviously he deserves being locked , but Even some of those claims are contradictory .

Wasn't an actress rejected from Lord of the Rings because Weinstein (falsely?) claimed she was difficult to work with?

I don't know about that , but wouldn't put it past him to cause trouble. But I'd rather get rejected from a movie than come to some "agreement" with a pervert .

It's not the end of the world to get turned down a movie , it happens to actors all the time .
