Absolutely. The kids would love it probably.....anything that engages kids with reading is a good thing.

Oh god. What if a non-drag queen makes that same joke on celebrity big brother one time. WHO WILL READ TO THE CHILDREN?

A Drag Queen reading to a young child?
Why should such an event be so feared?
(As long as her wig’s not grotesquely wild
And she trims off her ‘tache and her beard.

There’s nought scary about Cookie, to be fair,
Who seems a lovely, elegant old girl
Not so the Mayor, who with that costume and hair
Should be with Jack Sparrow aboard the Black Pearl.

In this day and age when reading’s not the rage
And some teens can’t spell the word ‘CAT’
This can encourage kids to start ‘turning the page’
And I ask you; What’s so wrong with that?

Heaven forbid, this should confuse any kid
About sexual identity or gender
For with ‘Drag’ nothing’s hid so stop flipping your lid
A man in a frock’s just a ‘Panto Pretender’

I think drag queens reading children should be part of the syllabus. Toughen them up a bit. Little Jessie and Joey coming home crying because a teaching assistant's told them their hairstyle is basic. Builds character. Improves hairstyles.

Why not? If they're good with kids then let them teach.

I see no problems with drag queens. I may potentially have some concerns with some members of the more controlling and political LGBT community doing so. The poor kids may get a politically correct diatribe rather than a story!

I see no issue with this at all. I don't see why anyone would care that someone dressed up to read their child a story?

I do see an issue with kids being taught rubbish like the 'gender unicorn' and stuff though. So much so that I have withdrawn my consent for anything like that being taught, after having it brought to my attention that my ****ing 5 year old was going to be having a lesson about 'gender identity' and how you can chose your sex, basically. No issue with LGB issues being taught. Absolutely huge issues with lying to kids and possibly setting them on route to ****ing up their whole life for not playing with the 'correct' toys or having the 'right' dress sense for their sex. Both of my kids being 'gender nonconforming' (seriously, are ALL kids not this?! Which child is a walking stereotype..none I know), no way are they being taught that they are wrong in some way.

We could potentially have generations of screwed up children in order to pacifier certain groups. Not good enough.
