They become permanent if they are popular enough. It's their way to boost sales if people think they need to enjoy them whilst they're available but then also if something sells enough it might warrant making them indefinitely.

Like all of the random flavours of Coke they have that are only available in certain countries.

I agree about Ready Salted - replace that bitch with Chicken Tikka Masala.

All seem a bit naff really, should have come up with something a bit more original than sweet chilli as well
