there are tons who do not have any current material. they have to write and record. you watch the up and coming stuff they will all have current stuff on offer

I hardly think the likes of Ed Sheeran needs the likes of Comic Relief to earn him an extra few bob. It's more likely the has-beens who show up after 10 years away.
