On CNN HD now


[Plane crashes at Havana airport in Cuba,]

There saying on CNN it was fireball.
Its a one Runway , small airport,
Jose Mari Airport.
Some reports are saying around 104 on board.
Domestic flight 737

[The plane in question is a Cubana de Aviacion Boeing 737, according to reports.]

[ Plane has crashed while taking off from Havana, Cuban state media has reported.]

Hopefully there are survivors if it was "just after take-off"

Ha - I meant in the context that if it does not happen in our own backyard so to speak, we tend not to absorb the true full horror of such an incident. RIP to all those tragic victims. Terrible news.

Awful news....rip to those lives lost. Amazing there was any survivors so soon after take off with full fuel tanks....
