Athenea Del Castillo

Leila Ouahabi

Aitana Bonmati

some of Spain's players

and honestly, these got amazing personalities too outside of the football

Del Castillo is also a popular tiktokker, Bonmati does a lot for mental health awareness

Ouahabi brings an amazing vibe also for girls night outs with the team, is considered quite a veteran in this current spain squad btw

also Spain is quite similar in terms of tactics as England, with turning a game around using tactical subs, like Del Castillo is their ''Chloe Kelly'' in terms of secret weapon to bring

Bonmati is the engine in midfield (same how Lucy Bronze is that engine for the england team)

also Spain are current world champions, so one might say they should be favourites going into the final here? but it is just bad luck they haven't done well in previous euros and now everything falls into place a lot better

could see it going either way, either it being a close call result, or i can see spain walking over england, considering they also won against a ultra-defensive germany formation of 5-4-1, with plenty of goalscoring opportunities there but just germany been defending with 11 basically, here against england there'll be more gaps in the defence i think considering england aren't as defensive of tactics as germany

I think that Spain will win tbh.

I think it'll be 2-1

It’s always nice to see good football winning trophies but from what little I have seen of this competition the refs give the skilful players/teams zero protection plus they don’t really penalise England’s roughhousing … they are the Newcastle of women’s football

So I see England kicking their way to victory

Sad but true

I live too far from a pub, someone would have to drive. Everyone's coming to me, we're going to the Old Buckenham air show in the afternoon, then back for a bit of a buffet and the footie. My brother and Dad have always been super-supportive of the women's game, I'm pleased to say.

i've also always followed the women's soccer honestly, glad its becoming as popular in europe, as it already was back in the US, with very well known stars back in the day Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, especially Mia Hamm, whom even got to do a commercial advert with top NBA star Michael Jordan, fun fact

Very fun fact. Hope you enjoy the final even though it's not your own nation. Next time, maybe.

under Arjan Veurink, i'm not sure about him as a head coach tbh, not all assistent coaches make good head coaches

but tbh you cannot do worse than Andries Jonker that moron who played Esmee Brugts as left back instead of left winger this tournament

My Dad loves the women's game too. He actually goes to watch his team (Bolton Wanderers) ladies when he can too.

He's a huge sports fan and has played and then refereed football most of his life. Same with cricket....he played and even now at 78 he still umpires. He enjoys the ladies cricket too

Your Dad sounds lovely. My Dad also refereed, only for kids and Sunday league. My Mum went once to watch him referee but got so upset at people calling the ref a w@nker she never went again lol. They were both really involved in everything we were interested in as kids.

Our Dads makes me proud... unlike some of the comments I've read on here from males who just cant seem to stop themselves.

Sound like we both have amazing Dad's. My Dad was both our biggest supporter and biggest critic when we were kids but in the best way. We call him Sport Billy. Since my Mum passed he has taken up walking football and recently Crown Green Bowling. My brothers eldest 2 kids, (boy and girl) both play cricket for the Surrey County team and he is now their biggest supporter too.

I keep trying to get LT to take his meds.

But he responds by getting Ammi to body slam me.
