Weather models now beginning to come together for a spell of very cold Easterlies from the 4th of Feb on.

There is a Huge High over Scandanavia that is blocking things and that is why Scotland is cold and England for the main is mild and why the Low pressures are going over SOuth England like one will over the weekend

A band of rain associated with Storm Christoph will push in from the northeast, turning readily to snow. Snow accumulations of 10-15 cm are possible at low levels, with 30-40 cm possible over the eastern Grampians. Strong winds will develop during the early hours of Thursday morning, increasing to gale force at times which may cause blizzards over hills and mountains. Wet snow at low levels may lead to icing on infrastructure, such as power lines. Cold temperatures to follow the snow, bringing a widespread ice potential over the area.

The river near me has burst its banks....it birst last week too so was already high. We have had rain now for probably 8 hours and can't see a break in the clouds yet. My garden is under water
Need to start building an Ark I think

No.....luckily my garden slopes which is why I get a lot of standing water at the bottom but there would have to be a serious amount of water to reach the house. The dorma in my lost is leaking though...so that's fun

Still raining and there is a flood warning for the river mersey near me. Its not going to affect my house but there are a number of houses where they have had to move their cars to higher ground

the actual band/front will clear east at about 2-3 am but tehre will be showers and much colder air tucking in from the North

but yes about 2-3am

by then your temp will have gone down 8 degrees
