Only managed to do a couple of paintings this year. Not the best year overall for me, can't wait to see the back of it actually. Gonna try and finish the year with a bang and a really big painting I'll be working on of The Queen until/after Christmas to make up for it.

My large painting of the late great Lily Savage (Paul O'Grady) has been selected to be exhibited in the Liverpool Art Fair in the famous Liver Building from the end of this month until August. Can't believe it!

Just completed a tribute portrait to The Vivienne. This took a while but was worth it! So many textures and colours, plus the large size.

Oil painting on 24 inch square canvas panel.

…ahhhhh, this is such a good portrait, Jonny……you’ve so perfectly captured the glamour that was The Vivienne but I feel a sadness in the eyes as well and that feels so accurate too….you have an incredible talent, Jonny and this is a great, great tribute……beautiful…
