We need a brand new party incorporating top business people , surgeons , good intelligent, responsible basically ( no politicians at all )

Also a charismatic figurehead .. like Russell Brand or the like ..

From Ch5HDnews Live News Hour 5PM

£20billion for a new Nuclear plant.

A local lady in Wales
was very upset,
they have a Nuclear Plant there now
and soon Another New One,
to be built next to it.

Ridiculous. .. especially seeing as they would be targets in any conflict.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has said it would be "silly" to provide more support to tackle rising energy bills now, before knowing what will happen to prices in the autumn.

Households faced a 54% hike in energy costs this month, along with record-high inflation hitting their pockets.

Opposition parties have called for an emergency budget from the government to focus on the cost-of-living crisis.

But Mr Sunak said he wanted to see what happened with energy prices first.

Because they don't want to... there will be maybe one or two that will be made scapegoats to show they're 'serious' but most businesses will get away with it expecially if they've ceased trading.

Rishi has already said they have just written it off, which I think is appalling

It was just another way of funneling public money to their mates, of course they're not going to investigate.

Translation; the prices have been pushed so high that a significant number of people can no longer pay at all or are significantly reducing their power usage, resulting in it actually lowering profits for the energy companies. Wups.

And in top of that even those who can afford it are now monitoring every penny spent People are using less wherther it’s not using the tumble dryer, dishwasher as often etc and when prices go down that habit will probably not change

treating people like poop is unsustainable. I dread to think what it will be like next winter. It's not even about whether you can afford it or not, people remember what their bills used to be and the further the companies raise those bills, the more ways people will find to offset it. I can imagine all sorts of dangerous exploits coming into play very soon

There were already reports of people giving themselves carbon monoxide poisoning by cooking on disposable barbeques indoors .

I mean yes it's dumb for two reasons,

1) carbon monoxide poisoning

2) a disposable bbq costs more than the energy you'd use cooking anyway even at high prices

But yeah... people are dumb and will do these things.

people are going to start tampering with electricity supplies, going back to the main junction box etc, god forbid if they start messing with gas supplies, but you just know that some folks will and then its explosion time
