Yes .. far worse .. although I think I had FLU for for nearly a week before contracting Covid so maybe that’s why ..

Completely wiped out .. spend most of the day lying down either in bed or on the sofa
- too weak to even sit up for long , awful 5 day headache , jaw ache , bunged up sinuses, random aching muscles/joints , breathing beggared, coughing guts up ( stomach cough)

I’ve even been falling asleep/ hallucinating when watching the odd football game ..

Maybe we should have had the booster vaccine after all ?

Nah they never lifted lockdown, it’s a power thing, people are taken away for just testing positive and this has being going on for at least a year now

i would like to know how effective the omicron booster is at stopping infection, it should be pretty damn good, but ive not seen any data on it.

They are apparently lining up a new flu vaccine that protects against about 20 strains of flu, that should pretty much wipe flu out as a threat

I thought I had something coming on about two days ago. I sneezed about 15 times and my nose ran. But after half an hour I felt okay.

China is lifting its most severe Covid policies - including forcing people into quarantine camps - just a week after landmark protests against the strict controls.

People with Covid can now isolate at home rather than in state facilities if they have mild or no symptoms.

They also no longer need to show tests for most venues, and can travel more freely inside the country.

Citizens have expressed relief but also concern about the sudden changes.

"Finally! I will no longer worry about getting infected or being taken away as a close contact," one person wrote on Chinese social media.

Another said: "Can anyone explain to me what's happening? Why is the change all of a sudden and so major?"

The sweeping changes indicate China is finally moving away from its zero-Covid policy and looking to "live with the virus" like the rest of the world. This comes as the country is grappling with its biggest wave of infections - over 30,000 each day.
