 4 helicopters honed in on the Institutional Cell Block facility on the outskirts of Hong Kong.Each of them contained 4 detainees and 4 guards escorting them, as well as the 2 pilots. The facility stood out to the passengers as soon as it appeared on the horizon, owed in part to its unusual shape and mass of cold grey.  Since applying to the ICB program - an innovational new idea set up by the UN with cooperation from Amnesty International in 2011 - just 12 months ago, these 16 inmates had been subject to intense psychological assessment and had a heap of paperwork come their, and their supervisors' and home country's diplomats, way. Upon landing, the inmates were filed in 2 separate lines through the entrance. They were searched, showered, had any personal effects confiscated, and given their new uniforms and basic living equipment (a bar of soap, a towel, a pair of plain black shoes with the laces removed, and a fairly small cardboard box to store it all in). The prison itself wasn't the strictest or cruellest of places, and was home to its own reasonably large library, a fine kitchen and even a small gym that the inmates could use during their privileges. However, as the first batch of 16 inmates in a trial system, there was an overwhelming sense of loneliness and isolation about the place. The inmates were shown to a wing of the prison that was circular in shape.  They filed, in silence into the cells, as they heard the helicopters take off again overhead.  [pretend there's no bits and bobs in there k thx] Livia stood in the middle of the wing atop the watchtower and cleared her throat, when a cat came trotting alongside her, rubbing itself against her legs. One of the inmates' eyes flared up. "You are in my prison as part of a trial but make no mistake, this is no holiday. You have a lot of work to do here, and any sign of unruly behaviour and I will have you removed. Permanently." As she said the final word, locks at the front entrance were heard closing and the guards had disappeared. Livia, though, remained unwavering as she gestured for the inmates to come into the task room, a large area at the centre of their wing that was curiously unfurnished. "Your first job is ahead of you. I expect it to be done thoroughly - and by the way - the first person to speak is in charge of the rest of you".
