He was trash as usual. Like Wayne some fans think he is a good passer because he hits this Hollywood cross field passes yet is unable to make any sort of meaningful passes that open up a defence whilst also failing to hit his man from 5 yars with any consistency

Yet I saw Verrati Pirlo Marchiso etc picking up the ball MANY times between the defence and midfield and turning at will whilst Stevie was nowhere to be seen. You are mental. This is international football.. an opportunity to win a trophy only comes around every 2 years, it's not like club football where theres 3/4 trophies up for grabs every season.. asking what England have won is just pointless.

Not once have i or anybody else in here claimed that we are amazing.. a few of us are being positive about the improvements we've made going forwards, our youth and fluid play. You've been spouting negative rubbish for the past 3 hours, i am sure i heard you celebrating that Italy winner.

You obviously aren't free to have your opinions changed on our national team and your mind set is that we suck and won't improve so why watch?

I am sure we were talking about how England aren't supposedly capable of scoring any goals so i think you've been having a discussion with yourself about how good/bad we are. As you've mentioned it.. no i dont disagree, we always fail at major tournaments, but this side were much more entertaining today than what we've seen in previous years. It's inevitable we aren't winning this world cup.. go out playing enjoyable football rather than sitting back & getting shat on.
