Kim Medcalf's Sam is basically Ronnie though. So I don't know why SOC couldn't find a place for Ronnie in his EastEnders but could find one for Kim's Sam.

Tbf, Ronnie's character has been exhausted with her recent murder spree and dying babies.

Sam's character has no such baggage tbf.

But they've ruined the potential for a Kim Medcalf return with bringing Danniella back so often since.

I don't think Sam and Ronnie are all that similar.

I remember DS used to be obsessed saying Ronnie and Sharon were too similar to be in the show at the same time.
