Thank God

Everytime I see this pop up on tibb's new posts area i think he's dead..

I've given up on the tv for news.

I prefer figures in my head.

UK is doing really well...so I predict 3 weeks we start chilling in the outside world.

I think we'll definitely peak in the next 7-10 days but 3 weeks is a bit ambitious for any relaxed measures... I would say middle of May at the absolute earliest (some easing) and at least July before ANY major change in social distancing measures.

Yes ... the headmasters union are pushing for an early July return to schools in order to give the kids a short two week dose of school life again and prepare them all for the new Sept term ...

Almost 9000 dead already, and nearly another 1000 dead in the last 24hrs. I know the media aren't asking any tough questions and are focussing on Boris' recovery in the same way as the DPRK would be, but we're not doing well.

Governmental dithering and attempting alternative ways of trying to deal with it has cost a lot of lives.

The last thing you want to do is take away a nations liberty, so obviously this is the only thing available to attack the government's attempts at keeping those number down..

At this stage of our lockdown, only a desperate person would use that against a fellow man.

You don't know that for sure Slim , those people probably would have died anyway , we will never know ,the same as you don't know the way we have gone has cost lives . It could have been much worse for all we know.

his official country retreat in Buckinghamshire,
after spending almost a week
at St Thomas' Hospital in central London.]

Very Good news that he’s recovered. Now Hopefully he will remember everything the NHS done for him, the next time that he and his party cheer rejecting their pay rise.

He's soon to announce a pay raise across the board! £5 in a card next Christmas for band 6 and above.

We can but hope, but I have a terrible feeling he'll be back to his old ways .
