Not wishing to sound like your Ma, but just be careful with the all rent up front thing, you have no comeback if anything goes wrong with the flat, for instance if the boiler breaks down and you have no hot water/heating the landlord has his/her cash so can take their sweet time getting a plumber round as you cant withhold rent until its fixed

Not being funny but the agency could do the same, they will need the go ahead from the Landlord to carry out repairs

By the looks of it, it doesn’t matter how much I have in savings I need a job first, so that’s been my priority this week (along with sorting out importation documentation for my car)

Property appears online I email same day to book a viewing, nobody gets back to me, I call no answer, I chase and somebody else has already agreed the let
