That they wouldn't have spilled democratic blood, if given the opportunity? Bombs were seized from the crowd, ties to bind and kidnap people, guns. It was never a protest, it was an attack. Whether the gallows functioned or not, if given the chance, those terrorists would have tried to use them.

I didn't say they wouldn't have attacked any politicians they found. I said they wouldn't have been able to use their gallows.

Out of the two sets of idiotic thugs, I still say the rioters from the summer (the ones you keep branding as BLM) were worse because they victimised the communities and neighborhoods around them, instead of the root of the problem.

You seem to have become fixated on one little point I made -that those gallows wouldn't work- and spun a whole little story for yourself that I'm downplaying everything those rioters were doing. I'm not. Notice the only good thing I said about them is that they didn't take it into the heads to destroy small businesses and attack people on the streets ... high praise indeed

i think there is no doubt that social media are now on borrowed time regarding their current working model. They cant refuse the role to editorialise their content and then do exactly that as they feel like. I think it was bound to happen

As an aside, the American golf PGA have cancelled the planned tournament at a Trump golf course in 2022. It seems the Trump brand is now toxic, and this could affect the entirety of their business

It's actually a good equivalency because it gets to show how private companies can do whatever they want. And again, Trump can go elsewhere to talk such as his own Press Room.
