I'm guessing that this is linked to the "family affair" thing?

I don't get the bitterness of people here. Like lmao I've seen tons of posts with 'not watching after Nikki leaves' or "this season is tragic even more since Nikki lost HoH'

Like lmfao this season is still interesting and entertaining, stop being pressed your faves arent dominating

Maybe because once Nikki goes, some people may not have anyone to support/not keen on the rest if you have 0 favorite left how are you meant to enjoy the show? Does it ever occur to you that may be the situation or are people just pressed because you say they are?.. you need to stop calling others bitter and pressed when you don't even know why they might quit after Nikki goes.

just caught up on this weeks episodes... I have fallen so far behind

Yay at Rail being gone... not going to miss his hair flips...
Loved Kelsey's face when Canada's vote was revealed
What is Tim going to do with $1000 from the Brick
Poor Nikki at the end... not even happy that Canada love her

Great season still... Wish I had more time for live feeds rt now

The balls had metal in the centre, and some of the Brothers' tiles were magnetic. Notice how Maddy had to tug the Brothers' balls, but Nikkis came easily.

Why did they have to do the game of chance? What was the point in voting when Nick & Phik would have gotten the second amount of votes and are HOH instead of the person who actually got the most?

Well that was that. Nikki was a certain to be one of the two, but a little surprised to see Phil & Nick there too.

And I kind of liked the game of chance roulette tbf. Even though the result was wrong. But that was the only kind of game Nikki could win. And seemed that Nikki really wanted that. She also had a good target in mind, which makes it sad that she didn´t win. Oh well...

Did you see on the Feeds, the diabolical plan she hatched with Cass? She was going to borrow Maddy's hat, nominate her, and then throw it back to her

I don't wanna be a pessimist, but this kind of sucks compared to the UK version.

The UK version has much more of a buzz, and even C5's HMs are better than these people IMHO.

I'm kind of just sticking with it now cos I wanna see it through...

I don't entirely disagree? I mean, BBCan at its worst is still much better than the current state of BBUK, but BBCan is kinda getting a little stale I think. probably has something to do with the switch to Global.

Perhaps i didn't make myself clear, I think from a production perspective and as a whole BBCan >

However, I feel the HG selection wasn't very good - they're hardly interesting people.

I guess it's just the difference in target audience. BBCan is clearly aimed at more of a family audience, but I quite like the gritty viewing BBUK gives us.

I have to agree, this is my first time watching and I don't think I'll be sticking with it after this season.

BBUK has more of a buzz, even the fake eviction twist and 'game of chance' fell flat when both should have been far more exciting/eventful as it is with the UK show.

I do understand the criticisms of this cast (although I don't really think they're that bad, they've provided numerous entertaining episodes), but you really shouldn't judge BBCan as a whole just on this season alone when 1 and 2 were universally praised and had total gems on the cast. In doing so you're doing yourself a disservice

I think the last point you made though is more to do with the stricter censorship Canadian and indeed American television has, there's no way anything like BBUK would ever be broadcast in a primetime slot.

As I said to the other Tom, by judging BBCan as a whole just on this season alone (which is really a marmite season) you're doing yourself a disservice by missing out on the amazing seasons that have gone previous, in which there were plenty of twists or moments that didn't fall flat at all and were incredible. Just as a side note I would argue that there's nothing exciting or eventful about BBUK's insistence of late in doing ~face to face noms~ or ~omg here's a secret room with monitors~ for the hundredth time. When it comes to creative innovation BBCan remains up there above the rest of the versions

I'm still enjoying this season tbh - the episodes might not be up to scratch (for some) but the feeds have been brilliant this season (and it's certainly better than Big Brother UK has been in a while). That being said, if the brothers mess up their HOH and one of the internationals end up going then it may start to drag. In the meantime though, I'd recommend to anyone who's not enjoying the season that much to try and keep up more with the feeds - they've been brilliant.
