Indeed, they built this family up and had storylines planned for them then scrapped it all of a sudden

.

They have obviously reviewed how storylines are written from now on because there has been lots of behind the scenes changes at Hollyoaks HQ

I really liked Newt I thought his story was wonderfully told and found it really gripping at times, especially with Eli.

Not long after Rae came into the show full time I really started to find Newt boring and I didn't realise it was because of Rae. Now looking back all the signs were there.

It would've been great if they had a a gang around Gilly and Rhy's age that went to festivals and hung out at stuff. But they had to give them the most miserable storyline ever

A post student gang in their late 20's would be great

Jamil too, very very pointless, espeically after E4 as you'll see. The students don't even really make sense now, there's hardly any and you never see them doing anything. And it's stupid how people come and go living in that one same halls flat
