Its Carl Costellos 1 year anniversary today in Hollyoaks

Heidi, Riley & Seths 1 year anniversary is tomorrow

Mitzeee's 1 year anniversary is on the 23rd July, while Jasons is the 2nd August.

They are a popular couple, can understand why some don't like them. I didn't like McDean (overrated), thought both characters were better single but it was just the storyline I had a problem with tbh

But it's basically what HO has been doing for months now. Washing up the same old storyline, which proves Noah was clearly pointless. Same with Ruby, same with Mercedes, we're not really getting any originality

True.. I blame the producers RE Mercedes because Jennifer Metcalfe can certainly act more than the usual tired affair storylines, but I guess it's keeping in touch with the characterisation of her character

.

The writing team better have bucked their ideas up after yet another overhaul!

At least we've got Darren and Nancy time this week, but then you have the whole Ethan thing that has dominated for like 3 weeks

Don't get why they're making him the star character.

Can't wait for the Lynsey stuff though

Will get her a chance to not be on some dodgy Cheryl storyline for once. Wish they had made her believe Gilly though

I finally got to see yesterdays C4 been busy, omg i was happy Doug was back!

and i love Jack is being featured a lot more considering he will be it this week and next, and i LOVED Nancys strop at Darren

I tell you who I don't think has much chemistry, Rhys and Jacqui. I know they're both good actors but they just don't really seem to fit together, they never have really. Quite annoying to just see them cooped up in a darkened flat all the time

I wonder if the TPTB get the message that the older characters are actually liked more than the younger characters right now

About time they realised Lynsey is popular with the audience and used her more, people actually wanted her to be in the main show rather than Cheryl when she first arrived.

Ethan only annoys me when they try to put him into 'ard copper' mode. I've grown to not hate his and Liberty's presence on the show. I don't like Doug though, has he ever been given a proper storyline? He's just there.

I'm starting to suspect it might be the unravelling of Silas as the killer since the episodes are in September, they will have the confirmed McQueens Ibiza scenes and maybe lots of action in the village.
