Set Fire to the Rain climbed to no. 2 on this weeks Billboard Hot 100 giving Adele her third consecutive top 3 hit Another number one soon no doubt, it should have had this sort of success in the UK as well.

I love Adele.. I love her chavvy but loveable accent and her bubbly personality.. and some of songs are good..but seriously she needs to release some new material

Well she confirmed on her blog that the rumour about her taking a 5 year break was untrue and she's actually back in the studio now. I think she might be recording the theme song for the new Bond film.

Adele sold a further 303k copies of 21 last week and returned to the no1 spot on the worldwide album charts for an astonishing 37th week.

This takes her official total to 19,976,000....just 24k from the 20 million mark. But it will have sold that easily since this tally so it has unofficially passed that landmark by now.
