Girls Aloud. Not even close. The Spice Girls were just a marketing campaign that would not shut up. They had 3 good songs if that.

Spice Girls are the princesses of pop and tarnish any success Girls Aloud have ever had, just with a breath of their name.

8 number ones (10 if you count the a-sides as singles) and a global fan base says enough.

2 Become 1 aswell



And in terms of singles with great build up and no noticeable chorus, Move is even worse than Gentleman, and that's saying something.

Say You'll Be There, Spice Up Your Life and Stop are the only truly great SG songs. The rest are just tat that we cling onto for nostalgia value.

Biology, The Show, The Loving Kind, Something Kinda Ooooh, Sexy! No No No, Sound of the Underground, Wake Me Up, Untouchable... all **** all over their (and I use "their" lightly, since not one of them had an ounce of creativity) discography.

Move Over, If U Can't Dance, Saturday Night Divas, The Lady Is a Vamp and Love Thing were all amazing, significant songs that weren't even released as singles too

I could probably think of more but they're just ones off the top of my head.
