Finally got round to watching the midseason finale the other day. It's not like me to take two months to watch a TWD episode!

The post-credits scene (which I forgot about then had to find on Youtube ) was definitely the highlight for me so I'm looking forward to 6B.

Interesting about Alicia Witt being cast, I wonder what capacity her character will be in.

I mainly know her as Natalie in Urban Legend so it'll be interesting to see her in a different role, I know she's been in plenty of other stuff but that's what I associate her with.

Not too hype for this ep as it is obvious to me what is going to happen due to the comic and where the last episode left off. I am beyond hype for Negan and the last couple episodes though.

Not arsed about the kid or the annoying older brother, I knew all three would die so I resigned myself but I really liked Jessie.

Carol once again the hero of the group, putting down that Wolf. Shame Morgan was too much of a coward to do it in the first place.

That was the best episode of the season so far imo

So glad that annoying Sam child is dead and the other son was annoying too so bye to him. I'm sad Jessie is dead, I really liked her. I wish Carl had died instead, but at least he got shot in the eye

Denise is growing on me a lot

..it was a good episode...

...I found it hard to not think of the Carl/Rick memes in the last scene with them both in so that actually made me smile...the covering themselves with Zombie blood/guts etc so they can walk through them never makes sense to me because so much of their flesh is still bare..face/head/arms etc...

Carol inadvertently at fault for Jessie and the kids dying and Carl being shot in the eye while Morgan changes the wolf and helps Denise live, brilliant stuff.

Can they please stop saving Glenn in the final second every time though

Even though I knew it was coming, it's a shame to see Jessie go, I really liked her.

The odd bonding between the Wolf and Denise was interesting, shame we won't see that develop now though.

I completely agree. I love Glenn but they're really lowering the stakes of this show every time they do that (with him and the other major characters).

I think Glenn's close shaves are all leading up to him being killed by Negan in the finale, as sort of a really dark sense of irony.

Incredible episode. One of the best of the entire series so far. That period with the deaths and Carl being shot was so good, there is always that thought of someone being bitten or killed every episode.. You knew the deaths would keep coming & there was a suspense feeling of not if someone might die but who/how many. Can't complain with any of the deaths either.. wasn't a fan of either of the brothers.

Wow. Just wow.

What an episode that was. I didn't think i'd be more shocked than I was at Daryl blowing everyone up, but boy was I wrong. As much as I disliked Sam, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable during his death. The way the walker just slowly bit into his head and the flashbacks during Jessie's death was just ****ing weird. I kind of expected Ron to die that way but omfg at him shooting Carl in the eye. Rick's solo mission of pure rage was brilliant and watching everyone else help him was great too. Also, the fast/cut scene of everyone killing the walkers was really well done. One of my favourite ever episodes

Yeah the rules need to be clearer in this thread as to when we're allowed to discuss it openly.

I think once the episode has aired in the UK you should just be able to discuss it openly, but if you post about it before the UK airing then use spoiler tags.

But I agree with Niamh, if I hadn't seen an episode of a show yet, there's no way in hell I'd risk clicking on a thread knowing that people will be discussing it

I don't mind spoilering if everyone wants to do it that way, i just don't see the point in having a thread on the current series if you can't discuss it openly in the thread after it airs in the UK. I wouldn't talk about it without spoilers anywhere else on the forum
