Meh these are internal party issues though, neither of our main parties would ever have a candidate who hadn't had to put in years of political service first before needing the backing of other MPs to even get on the ballot so not sure that's more democratic. A Trump would never even have a chance.

Would be good if Kasich could now mount a serious challenge to Trump but seems unlikely

So it's looking like Clinton v Trump for the general then?

Why do you think white supremacists love Trump like they do? Could it be that what Trump says, resonates with their own thinking?

Its weird, being on an English forum site where so many ENGLISH guys are getting excited about this clearly racist American candidate.

In all events, the management reserve the right to refuse admission, for whatever reason they see fit. People can try and pin it as racially motivated, that is their right, but I think its more important what Trump says at his meetings personally. That will ultimately determine if he becomes the next president. It will not be influenced by who he restricts at his conventions.

You only need to look at political conferences in the UK to note that opposing views are not welcome. Its normal

You think it's more important what he says at his rallies? No? Really?!? Because what he's already saying now couldn't possibly be the reason for this rising divide.

Of course its more important what he says at his meetings. That's pretty obvious I would have thought. All candidates vet and restrict access to their meetings, as I said, its normal. The only reason Trump is getting attention is because people want to remove his democratic right of free speech. Every time they disrupt one of his meetings, he will gain more support, that's a fact.

If the protesters are not careful, they will end up handing the presidency on a plate to Trump by their own actions.

..I wonder if that's true, that people who have never voted before are voting just because of Trump, or just what his ego is saying...'I won't lead it but there will be riots', he's just so always inciting of aggression/violence, whilst trying to dismiss any direct part in it himself...

..I haven't got time to watch the other vid on whether a brokered convention is likely but I will watch it after work, thanks for posting Girth....I'm really finding the American political process so fascinating, something that I hadn't really known much about before but find myself constantly reading up about it now......

I agree. And its hard to see how the GOP establishment can get behind one candidate when the party is so fragmented. Well, they caused this problem so now they have to deal with it. Maybe a Hillary win is not too bad for everyone.

..yeah that's what I was thinking as well Girth, a Hilary win...it'll still feel a bit like the political reporter said though...voting against, rather than voting for, which seems so weird to me ..if she does win and if she did make it to the White House, although it would be good to have the first female President..I don't really know that I like her that much/I just don't get a great feeling from her as a world leader...obviously she's the much better option than Trump but then everyone is the much better option than Trump, so it's not really that much of an attribute to her.....

From an outside position, I'm quite enjoying the turmoil. I love politics in the World arena but when I'm on an English forum where the majority of posts are simply about Trump and his forthcoming election, this is sublimely entertaining.

Yes he does look like the winner

He even refused Ted Cruz in a debate
