The Flood - obviously already amazing.
SOS - Very manic, fast-paced, quite exciting, I approve.
Wait - electro? what? no. STOP IT.
Kidz - has a kind of Pet Shop Boys sound to it. It works, oddly. Mark Owen-led, so sure to please Laura
Pretty Things - utterly forgettable. sounds like something from Rudebox.
Happy Now - You can tell Stuart Price produced this album. Slow, building, lingering, potential to be a grower. Oh that's a nice chorus.
Underground Machine - I'm actually doubting this is them. The riff sounds almost Depeche Mode. It sounds like the Pirates of the Caribbean theme music remade by Softcell.
What Do You Want From Me? - Mark Owen self-flagellating for quite obvious reasons. Bit awkward lyrics. A chorus with 'I still want to make love with you'...erm. K. Not awful. OMG HE JUST SAID 'SEX' THIS IS WRONG.
Affirmation - finally a Barlow vocal. Quite a thumping beat. Not a very good chorus unfortunately.
Eight Letters - oh good, something not electronic. Bit late, though. I assume the eight are t-a-k-e-a-w-a-y. HAHAHAHA I'M FUNNY. so nearly 9 minutes long. assuming a bonus track included. will mention. the first song is quite lovely. Oh, the eight letters are i-l-o-v-e-y-o-u. boring. K apparently the bonus is as follows:
Flower Bed - Jason on vocals. Ooo. This is actually quite lovely. An ambient electronic feel, earnest lyrics, aww.

I've got a horrible feeling about what this album will do the band. There's little in the way of 'single' potential. The sound is far too different from The Circus/Beautiful World. There's no soaring ballads. And it kinda feels like a lot of talent (Gary Barlow & Robbie Williams' songwriting, come on) gone to waste. This has been like slipping in and out of a coma. But the slipping out moments are quite lovely indeed, I'll grant them that.

There is a doc on Sat about Robbie rejoining the band and how they all feel about it and stuff. Looks quite interesting actually.

Affrimation is Howard Shaun But I approve besides that. The album is out in Ireland on Friday so I'm just gonna wait. I love most of the previews though.

edit:Funny that Pretty Things and Underground Machine are my least fav from the previews and you didn't rate them much.

Overall not that thrilled about Progress, favourites are Happy Now & What Do You Want From Me? Eight Letters/Flowerbed is pretty... The Flood and Pretty Things ok, rest very meh.

I suppose I should probably do a review but I'm only on my 3rd listen.

The Flood-Very old Take That,love it even with Rob on lead.
SOS-A bit like an electric Hello(off The Circus),one of my least favs
Wait-Nice enough,I like the chorus
Kidz-Love it,very very catchy. I love the amount of Mark on this album.
Pretty Things-I just find this track weird,although nearly all the songs are.
Happy Now-Wasn't sure on this but I ADORE the chorus
Underground Machine-Sounds like a Robbie solo song. My least fav on the whole album
What Do You Want From Me?-I didn't think I'd like this because of what it's about(although Mark says it actually got nothing to do with that) but it's a really nice song,sounds like something off Mark's solo albums,one of my favs
Affirmation-Nice to hear from Howard. Nice song,doesn't stand out but it's a good 'un.
Eight Letters-Absolutely gorgeous. Reminds me of Said It All and good to hear from Gary,he's barely in this album!
Flowerbed-Well it's Jason,I love this just for that besides the fact it's a lovely song.

Overall it's very very very synthy. It's nothing like they've done before although I can see glimpses here and there. Too much Robbie for my liking although it makes up for it slighty with the amount of Mark on it. I really really do like it although it's going to take a bit of time to love it. Nowhere near as good as Beautiful World and The Circus

Overall-non-bias I'd say 7/10 but this is TT so I'd say 10/10 automatically

Me and the fam were gunna go but its like 500 pounds for all of us to go, and I would really want to go with my friends so its a bit of a waste of money if im not gunna enjoy myself as much xx

Laura told me that she got there early morning last tour and was easily at the front! But someone else said to me that because Robbie is back this tour more people might camp :\

I know I'm getting to Manchester about 7am, and that's over a month before your one, so you'll easily be able to play it by ear nearer the time!

I know with McFly, if you don't camp, you're not barrier basically! :\ xx
