I can't at people saying they're weren't moved by Poussey's death scene I was almost practically shaken by it (despite the fact that I accidentally read a spoiler about it this very morning) The final scene of her looking at sky in Brooklyn and the close-up to her face smiling was so lovely. I'm going to miss her presence on the show It was such a hard-hitting concept that is made even more upsetting due to the fact that it applies to an ongoing issue in real-life. Also, I'm heartbroken for her group and Brook </3

The season itself was enjoyable. It was a slow-burner, but it definitely picked up with episode 7 (I loved Lolly's episode, and it pretty much cemented her as my favourite of this particular season (maybe?)).

The storytelling this season was delivered very well. I had a feeling I was going to tire of some of the plot lines, but I think that was actually due to the slow-pace of the first half of the season. Also, the episodes being an hour-long didn't make the show as binge-worthy, but that's only a very small critique.The feud between Piper and Maria was gripping. I hated Piper during the first half, and wanted Maria to give her the comeuppance she deserve, to the complete opposite during the second-half. The scene where they singe the Nazi symbol onto Piper's arm was brutal an slightly disturbing to watch. Apart from the the fact that Dancing On My Own was playing the background The white supremacy ordeal though [IMG]http://www.*************/images/smilies/bb/pukeon.gif[/IMG]

The whole Judy King thing was quite weird tbh. It's not like I didn't like her as a character, but I just felt that she wasn't necessary. Her moments with Yoga Jones were good. Her involvement with Cindy and her group were fun comedic moments, but it just felt quite bland and stagnant as far as the plot goes.

The Sophia situation was sad and I felt like more of a comeuppance is needed in regard to the privileged white men and women who didn't give a ****. That goes for the new prison guards too. The female one was okay, but the creative team did a great job in making those characters come across as unlikable as possible (poor Red, Maritza and Crazy Eyes + Kukudio </3).

Red remains superior and I think I like her 'family' the most. It was also good to see more of other characters such as Flores, and I'll be looking forward to seeing the backstory of other characters such as Gina, Yoga Jones & Angie (who I find hilarious btw...the most underrated character from the show).

The whole Alex murdering someone storyline was quite boring tbqh with the exception of Lolly and Frieda's involvement, which is a shame because I quite like Alex. I actually liked Alex and Piper together towards the end of the season, but I will to see what happens next season if it becomes boring again

Nicky went down in my estimations, but I think that was idea with her character for whatever reason. I still like her though. I'm glad her Sophia are officially back. Pennsatucky and Boo's friendship <3 Her conflicted feelings towards the guard who raped her </3

Also, did anyone find it quite strange that Daya of all characters was the person to hold the two guards captive with the gun? I guess it would make sense if the 'Daya proving herself as a badass' goes onto be a main part of S5. Her mum will probably want to go back when she hears she gets more time (that's if she does, will she? idk if it's considered self-defense lmao?)

I agree about Judy King. Some great comic moments, some WTF gross ones (the threeway, although their stoned conversation beforehand was great), but ultimately a bit pointless.

I've seen a lot of hate for the fact the show is trying to flesh out Healy's character - although it would seem he's now left it. If anything for me, the most emotional moments this series have involved him: watching Lolly get taken away, and then his conversations with the homeless woman that turned out not to be his mum. I can understand the frustration since he was very 2D and "a dick" in the early series but idk, I think the Tumblr crowd just rush to condemn someone as "problematic" or cis scum or whatbloodyever with as much conviction as the racists, rapists and sexists they deplore. Just glad they didn't make Red/him a real thing.

And yeah I don't get the "she didn't really feature this season so idc about her death" comments. She was a ****ing sweetheart. And Taystee's hysterical crying was probably the darkest, cruelest moment the show's had to date. Idfc, I cried a lot. The ending episode was super cute with the drag queens (that night club looked fun) and the monks, but I think any time a character looks at the camera, let alone as a goodbye, is a little bit corny.

Crazy Eyes' backstory finally being revealed kinda made me like her less, not gonna lie. But then I've never dealt with someone with a mental illness / her level of childishness etc. Just an awful scene.

In terms of characters who've gotten more airtime this season... I enjoyed Soso and Blanca's backstories a lot. Didn't care too much for Maria's because she's become a dick, plus it felt a bit cliche.

And yes the girl who always gets injured but managed to put Robyn into one episode is forever a hero <3

The threesome scene was so wtf it was funny. I totally forgot about Healy too. I did feel sorry for him towards the end, after not being a fan of his at the beginning (and still don't care that much about him tbh). What actually happened to him, is he in some sort mental hospital? The Lolly scene was so heartbreaking, and I liked his relationship with her and Red.

The flashback scenes at the club were really cool to watch. It really captured the New York culture, and I want to go even more now. It was sweet we saw Poussey at her happiest in her final episode. Yeah, breaking the fourth wall is always risky in these types of programmes but I didn't mind it because it felt like a final goodbye with the viewers </3

Omfg that scene with Crazy Eyes was so shocking. I hope she doesn't continue to blame herself for Poussey's death :/

Yeah, Flores, Lolly and Brook's storylines stood out the most to me.

- Poussey </3</3</3</3</3 she was my favourite character since Season 2. Her sendoff episode was super cute though
- Red is probably my favourite character now. She's so flawless and carelessly gets involved in everything
- I prefer Piper as a bad bitch but I did like her arc this season.
- HOWEVER if it's just gonna go back to mushy moments with her and Alex I'm not there for that.
- Speaking of repeated storylines I swear Nicky has had the coming off drugs story arc before? Maybe I'm tripping (pun intended)
- Maria is alright but I prefer Gloria as the leader of the Latinas.
- I'm interested in where Daya's story is going to go and I'm sure she'll be very important in the next season (how things have changed since Season 1). Aleida was great too.
- I'm starting to love Angie and Leanne they're so messy <3
- Lollys story is cute but having both her AND Crazy Eyes is a bit much so I'm glad one is gone for a while.
- Pennsatucky has had an interesting arc over the series but the whole Donuts storyline is very uncomfortable, but I'm glad that storyline is there? Idk it's hard to explain.
- **** it, Caputo might be one of my favourite characters.
- As for the newbies I ****ing LOVED Judy King! She's so OTT and fun and I thought her presence in the show was amazing and hilarious (the mollie induced threesome )
- Happakukka is cute, Abdullah is kinda just there
- It's good to have Sophia back with the others. Unfortunate to lose Sister Ingalls though </3
- I miss there being a real bad bitch villain like Vee ugh second season was SO good.
- The show is great but the constant MEN ARE BAD AND THEY WILL HURT YOU storylines being shoved into our face is just becoming so extra. We finally get a nice dude in Bailey and he only goes and bloody kills the fan favourite.
- Speaking of men THERE WERE SO MANY HOT GUYS omg Maritza's brother I literally rewatched his first scene like 3 times just staring at his face. Stratman (The baldish guard) was cute too. And the construction teacher. And Morellos husband can get it too why not.
- Next season I'd like to see stories for Anita, Gina, Yoga Jones, Angie, Kukudio, Abdullah, Happakukka and the snoring girl maybe another episode for Red, Boo and Soso (didn't feel like her episode went anywhere)

Poussey death was really moving and sad, didn't see it coming as she didn't have very much air time in season 4. Looking back Pousssey was definitely one if my favourite characters.

The new guards are so ****ing annoying, can they all just be killed off please, especially Piscatella.

I'm not sure weather I like Piper as a bitch, perhaps it will grow on me.

I kept really liking Judy and then going off of her, but overall I think she's a great character.

Crazy Eyes back story really shocked me, I knew something bad was going to happen to the child but I didn't expect that.

I loved Poussey's backstory, the club scenes were brilliant and she really grew on me, it made her death more upsetting because she was so happy in New York

Blanca's backstory was interesting, nice to see her get more airtime, I'm presuming she did something awful to the elderly lady?

Lollie was so sweet, I feel so sorry for her, one of my faves characters. Her backstory was probably my favourite this season. The scenes with her and Healy was very upsetting, I really hope we see her again.

I thought Tasha was going to storm the interview at the end.

The ending was really powerful, can't wait for season 5 now. It's great to see them all come together considering the divides this season.

I so want to know if Daya shoots the guard, he was such a dickhead. Really looking forward to seeing how the show progresses.

I binged watched 3 and 4 this week and 3 was awful I wasn't interested in anything going all but all the storylines in season 4 were gripping
