Not sure why but this story is flat as anything.

I know bringing a character back from the dead is ridiculous but I remember when Den returned, the episodes were brilliant.

This is just... blah. Could've been so much better but it's treated like any old story.

Yeah, the episodes put more focus into Elaine's latest boytoy and Babe being a 60 year old virgin.

But yes, this has fallen really flat.

The episodes should be totally focussing on the Beales/Mitchells instead of random side stories with Elaine and her latest 'comedy' story.

Also EASTENDERS NERD ALERT!

But I'm sure years ago before they even killed Kathy off, whenever Ian had a break from the show, him and Jane would go to visit Kathy in South Africa and now she only knows her from photos?

Even nerdier alert (though I saw it on DS)

Apparently the last time Ian went to visit Kathy was in 2004. This is before Jane and Ian got together. Like their romance story was just starting out so she never actually went with him to South Africa.

I thought tonight's episode was brilliant. Great writing on all the scenes. I love Babe so much as a character omg Elaine clicked for me tonight too so I'm happy she's staying around and I'm intrigued to know what's going to happen from here between them.
I nearly spat my tea out when Ian got hit by the car though omg
I LOVE why Jane hates Kathy. After everything the Beales have done for Bobby, to be greeted by a mother with those sorts of reasons for abandoning a child would never sit right with her.
Shabnam and Kush scenes were great too. I didn't really get the point in Abi, Ben and Jay at the end though
