Nooo, no way would the producers would want to lose Alison King unless she personally decided to quit.. Carla would find another business venue if she were to lose the factory because she is a businesswoman after all.

He said it was a mistake I think, and he didn't realise until it was too late, then of course, with the Weatherfield shop being the only one bringing in any real cash, he wanted it rebuilt as soon as possible.

Dev's insurance premiums must have gone up somewhat, considering all his shops were blown up by Maya, I'm surprised he could get any insurance at all

And if he is so broke, why not sell his flat?? Or sell his house & live either above the shop,or kick Graeme & Tina out & live in his flat...
