I've been reading far too many cast spoilers (and, inadvertently, other spoilers) for my own good, so it's nice to be able to put faces to names

Anyway, they look... good? Although of course looking good and actually being any good are two very different things when it comes to Drag Race. This isn't a results spoiler or anything major but I'll stick it in spoiler tags anyway:

But she seems nice, if a little Milk-esque on a good day and Miss Fame-esque on a bad) > Trinity (she's... there. Vaguely Jinkx-ish?) > Aja (eh, bit too Pearl-like for me. I've still got PTSD) > Eureka (could be fun, could be... not) > Shea ("...I speak French!" was funny but that's about it. I feel like I'm being way too harsh though, so I'll give her a chance) > Charlie (I feel like I would have heard of her if I were a true drag fan, and that I probably should have too. But yeah, you can tell that she's primarily a Madonna impersonator) > Kimora (oh wait here's Pearl*) > Jaymes Mansfield's voice

*actually I don't think anyone's all that Pearl-like and am indeed just comparing people for the sake of comparison and as I said, this ranking's completely arbitrary/subject to change five minutes into the premiere. So from a brief listen, Ru's new album is much more classic Ru (none of that Geronimo bollocks), which I suppose is nice if that's the Ru you prefer/have any interest in Ru's music whatsoever. Ru!

I feel like this season is gonna be a lot like season 7

A lot of them seem to have little personality and are there for looks

On first impressions not impressed with the cast (especially after season 8's amazingly well rounded cast)

I find it amazing to know that Peppermint is the first transgender queen to have transitioned before the start of the competition. Also, there is this one YouTube channel that correctly predicted everyone except for Valentina (because we were all thinking that there would be 12 queens, not 13).
