Not necessarily. The show has been really good at twists the last few months so it could end up being a completely different reason.

Eastenders is really on fire this week! I've loved all the recent developments with the Lucy story.

Liking Paul more and more but I REALLY wish he hadn't accused Dean of homophobia. It's such a cliched thing for a gay person to say when they get rejected for something.

Charlie leaving is ridiculous. They put him together with Ronnie and created a couple that the audience really liked. Then they made Charlie have an affair with her sister whilst she was in a coma from a car crash that happened on their wedding day

It's annoying because Roxy has a lot of potential but they keep giving her ****ty storylines. The scene where she thought Ronnie was dead in the hospital shows that she's a good actress so why not use her?

Roxy's stories always have revolved around men and Ronnie really, in spoilers for the next few weeks I've seen one that suggests Ronnie takes issue with Dean now.

There's two possible outcomes to this scenario:

1. Max told Carol that "he knows what he needs to do". Surely he can't just have told her he's going to confess and go down for it; obviously he has a plan up his sleeve. I think he'll tell the police that he lied about killing Lucy. He'd still go down for lying to the police, but he will have a much shorter sentence (Let's say a year? That'd be convenient).

2. Lauren returns and does something.
