It is a bit dated I guess though.

The synchronization in the dance however was totally perfect.

It is a great song and i also love Edith Piaf ~ an incredible voice but the song didn't suit the dance.

The standard this series is really strong though.

Yes however, I loved the energy, synchronization and massive fun elements of John and Johannes routine.

Okay me and the judges have disagreed a fair bit tonight.

1. Dan & Nadiya (+12) - It was the only dance that I really found fun on the night.
2. Tilly & Nikita (+9)
3. AJ & Kai (+1) - While not AJ's best dance I do feel that the judges went harsher on her than they were on weaker dances on the night.
4. Adam & Katya (+10) - A massive improvement for Adam.
5. John & Johannes (-4)
6. Tom & Amy (+1)
7. Sara & Aljaz (+3) - No offence but how did that dance get a 36? It was okay, but a 36? Not for me personally.
8. Greg & Karen (-3) - Technically it's the worst dance on the night, but it did make me laugh so it's been moved up a couple of places for me.
9. Judi & Graziano (Non-Mover)
10. Rose & Giovanni (-7) - Definitely not Rose's dance imo.
11. Rhys & Nancy (-9) - I normally don't mind Rhys, but that was a messy dance imo, and overscored too.

I really enjoyed my top 5 dances in particular tonight, but overall a fun Show for me personally.

3. Tom & Amy (+3) - I've been very middling on Tom's dances previously, but I really enjoyed the energy of his dance tonight.
4. Rose & Giovanni (+6) - Rose is clearly very good at slow dancing, plus she picked Alicia Keys 2nd best song after Empire state Of Mind (which I know is technically Jay-Z) but Alicia Keys parts of the song are my personal favourite. But yeah a strong dance from Rose this week imo.

Dan & Nadiya: not bad, didn't see any mistakes now compared to few weeks ago with his foxtrot, 8

Adam & Katya: giving these guys the benefit of the doubt, plenty of good hip action, decent efforts in samba technique for a novice either, and quite enjoyable performance 8

Sara & Aljaz: Craig was wrong, most of the rumba techniques were indeed executed beautifully, i agree with Motsi, it is a tricky dance indeed, and with rumba you can also go both ways as well, either classy/emotional or sexy/raunchy and i am glad aljaz chose the former for Sara as it suits her more, almost like seeing her elegant ballroom side in this latin dance, i saw some hip action too which i didn't expect to at first 8

Tom & Amy: this was bit of a hit and miss for me, upper half was alright, but bottom half lacked fluidity, hip action for me, and this music kinda annoyed me, i prefer traditional music for salsa's sorry to be oldschool, good side the lifts were fun, but some of the dancing itself was borderline on dad dance level 5

Tilly & Nikita: basic, simplistic, elegant, beautiful storytelling with this choreo, Nikita is such a fab dancer either, he definitely is redeeming himself amazingly here compared to lets dance 9

AJ & Kai: too little gancho's for me, too little AT content overall for me, it came across to me as if i was watching rock of ages musical or something, from early contender to becoming a bit mediocre for me, you can do so much more AJ, it makes me sad to just see you giving away average performances, could've been absolute knock out but this was poor 3

Ugo & Oti: Craig was a little harsh, i mean ok this performance was not very good, it lacked hip action sure, but for someone who just came back from back injury, nice work and be proud of yourself, good choreo from Oti either, Ugo you are not a natural dancer but that is not too bad, there are plenty more who aren't natural dancers, i enjoyed this performance myself 6

John & Johannes: this was GOOD, up there with my other fave same-sex charleston by Nicolas & Vadim earlier this year, bags of personality, loads of different charleston techniques into this thank you very much JoJo for that choreo, quirkylicious my boys 10

Rose & Giovanni: omg, i am speechless, this was indeed i agree with Motsi a magic moment, up there with your titanic foxtrot, loved the usage of sign language in the beginning of the routine either, you got the makings of a true ballroom queen my dear 9

Rhys & Nancy: already a lot calmer than before, but still those jumps into this routine was unnecessary, otherwise great efforts at this swing AS foxtrot, great chemistry either i am beginning to notice that 8

Last night it was a step in the right direction. I would like to see more of that.
Of course we all know that he's going to smash the Charleston and jive. So I'm looking forward to those.
