I've seen a call for people to withhold a month's direct debit payment of their license fee. I'd be up for that.

Good point he makes about Alan Sugar. So we can add Lord Sugar as another BBC employee who's made politically biased tweets.

Match of the day lost its appeal when other channels came along and offered better coverage. Indeed, match of the day was only poular when it was a monopoly

MOTD and BBC's coverage in general appeals to people like me who refuse to subscribe to all providers so therefore subscribes to none If we really want to get to the problem of mediocre premiership football coverage, the 3PM blackout is the biggest issue.

The issue here is that there are numerous big names on the BBC who are openly political "out of work". If this is now BBC policy... They're either all going to have to sign new contracts with social media clauses, or be shown the door.
I don't see that happening though so this all seems rather dodgy. |

It would all be easier to manage if the BBC was in any part impartial.

I keep banging on about it, but this is the beginning of the end of the BBC. Its remit for a licence fee comes from it being an impartial public broadcaster, and they could get away with that before social media and when they had a monopoly on media. People are not impartial, they never have been, and they never will be

I'm not a fan of the current beeb, but be careful what you wish for. As soon as the BBC is out of the way, you will see a flood of ideological rw stations pop up to take it's place. Great for people that prefer slogans over facts, but the Americanisation of our airwaves will be terrible in the long run.

I don't watch live telly! I don't watch BBC iPlayer! I don't want your service - go away! Honestly. I cancelled my milk delivery subscription after the first summer because the milk kept going off on the doorstep. The milkman didn't start sending letters threatening to beat me up if I didn't pay for my milk .There's this bizarre idea that it's something lofty and not just... A telly service. |

It’s not impartial because the Tories have packed it full of donors and ex party candidates who are willing to do their bidding, being angry at the institution rather than the people controlling the institution is wild

Yes, sack everyone who stands in solidarity with someone who’s been forced out of his job due to government overreach, definitely doesn’t sound like fascism at all

Lineker's Past Tax Issues
In 2012, he was forced to pay £4.9 million in back taxes after being found to have used a tax avoidance scheme. I guess he isnt bothered about how much illegals cost as he avoids paying tax?
