With all the misinformation around, I'd wait to hear confirmation from reuters, before believing the rumours and fog of war disinformation. Hopefully this remains nothing more than disinformation.

He's actually strung both sides along over the years, and is friendly with both. The Russian position is that Palestine should be it's own state - which is how it was before they were invaded and occupied.

Russia has a fairly obvious reason to want US/European military resources to be tied up in the Middle East and military aid to be focused on Israel.

If the guns n ammo are in Israel and Palestine, they're not in Ukraine.

In a further show of its unequivocal support for Israel, the US State Department has just announced that the country's top diplomat, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, will travel to Israel "in the coming days".

Blinken will "engage our Israeli partners directly about the situation on the ground and how we can continue to best support them in their fight against the terrorists who launched these horrific attacks," the department said.

"Our support for Israel is unwavering."

We used to have an Israeli lad on here, YWinter. I hope he's safe also.
