It is fact! FAct is, there has been 18 world cups, and 17 times, the host continent has won . Thats a fact. Which means basically, African teams never had a chance. Until now.

we were minutes to actually maybe beating france..argueably one of the best teams in the world
and then to get it snatched away from us at the last minute due to cheating

YOu werent minutes away from winning anything. It was tied, and France still couldve scored again, if that goal didnt count. It is what it is, its Football. Take it with dignity instead of being awful losers.

You really don't get it do you? It's called fairplay, sportsmanship - everything that FIFA is supposed to endorse for feck sake.

Henry has been one of the great ambassadors for the sport over the last 10 years or so and he's looked on as a hero and role model by so many followers. This has tarnished his reputation as well as that of the sport itself. He was their captain and he celebrated like a mad fool.... incredible scenes.

And his interview afterwards was absolutely shocking. He discredits himself and the game. Football and FIFA are a joke at the moment following this.

NO way in hell would this tarnish Thierry Henrys reputation, apart from in the eyes of the oh so fickled British fans, dont kid yourself. Henry is a world class legend of Football period.

Henry cheated and Ireland have every right to react in the way they have, especially considering what was at stake. This is the World Cup and Henry was well aware of what he did. Cheating and unsportsmanlike behaviour should never be accepted particularly on occassion like this, and I feel FIFA should grow a pair right now and make a stand against this type of behaviour. Henry didn't even apologise for it in the press conference - there's no defending him on this.

yeah i looked at that for england, and i spotted them on there, it shows us to be the seventh most successful country ever, which isnt to bad considering all of the country's in the world.
i didnt see a single african flag there, which is pretty poor considering africa has the most country's.
